EBC Legacy
The Church here has been blessed with a great legacy of Heritage and History. God has blessed and used the ministry here down through the years in tremendous ways to impact our immediate community for the cause of Christ. God has also used the missions’ endeavors of the church to accomplish great things for the gospel on a global level.
While we are grateful for our history and find good cause to celebrate our godly heritage we are even more interested in making history…accomplishing great things in the present ministry and in the days that lie ahead of us here at Emmorton Baptist Church.
Over the past two years God has done tremendous things and we are in earnest expectation of what He has in store for our future. We are not just interested in Celebrating the Past, the glory days, but we are interested in Doing Great Things for God in the Present and we are anticipating a Glorious Future. Come and join us as we make history and pass on a heritage to the next generation.
Psalm 78:4-7
4 “We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.
5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:
7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God,…”
